Tahoe Kids Critter Cruises is South Lake Tahoe’s most exciting new family adventure — a 2.5-hour hands-on wildlife boat cruise specially designed for curious kids and their parents!

Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Tahoe, our cruises are part safari, part science lab, and all-out fun.

Whether your little explorer is into fish, birds, bugs, or boats, this unforgettable experience connects them with nature in a way no screen ever could.

What’s Included

🛥️ 2.5-Hour Cruise on a fully licensed, family-safe boat operated by USCG licensed Captains.

🪤 Wildlife Activity Stations

• Drop and pull minnow traps and crawdad traps

• Use binoculars to spot osprey, eagles, and water birds

Perfect for kids ages 4 to 15 — and their adventure-loving parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Each cruise holds a small group, so everyone gets personal attention and a front-row seat to the action.

Departure Locations

We have two boats in two different harbors to serve you: Tahoe Keys Marina and Timber Cove Marina, both in South Lake Tahoe, CA (Free parking available for cruise guests)
